Met a lovely couple this morning over breakfast. Both been riding Harleys for 5 years. They live in Oregon but have a home in Arizona too. They stick the bikes on a trailer and migrate south for the winter and return when it gets warmer. Can't do with the cold anymore....
When I explained I am following my nose and the recomendations of the locals they gave me a place to go on my way to Vegas. So it looks like I'll be feeding donkeys at 11am the day after tomorrow. Watch this space :o)
In conversation, politics has been brought up several times. With the couple in Asheville, the sawmill guy on the Natchez Trace Parkway and today. All are concerned about President Obama. All are prepared to give him some slack but all are concerned about the overly liberal direction the country is going.... Its still early days.
